“Discover with Vivino” TV Commercials
In 2021, Vivino invested in new-to-us media marketing to expand our reach, in support of our mission to be the largest seller of wine by becoming the most recognized and trusted brand for discovering, buying, and enjoying wine. This included broadcast commercials that became central in solidifying our messaging and building a consistent and cohesive visual identity.
This campaign focused on driving awareness of Vivino as the platform for buying the right wine, through the lens of discovery. To bring these thoughts to life, we partnered with a video production agency, BX Films. As our first foray into TV, this campaign also included creative testing with two distinct concepts, each with multiple cuts and persistent logo treatment.
At the end of the day, the parting thought for viewers was:
”Vivino can help me discover and buy the right wine for my tastes.”

In addition to managing the agency relationship from concept to handoff, I also led internal discussions on script iterations and the creative briefs for both spots. Partnering with the director and stylist from BX Films, I helped mold the art direction and styling to closely match our brand photography efforts that were evolving parallel to video.
We were also fortunate enough to be able to join on-set during shoot days, which was a wildly unique experience during COVID.

To ensure this campaign could be fully integrated, I also sourced a b-roll photographer to help capture statics that were used in paid social, email, and in-product merchandising.
